I got this message from my friends say that:
'Bush has recently appointed General Hood as Ambassador to Pakistan . He is the one who flushed ' Quran-e-Pak' in a toilet of Guantanamo Bay Jail and said 'I will eliminate this book from world'. Please share this message to as many people as you can so that people get to know about it and they pressurize the Govt.'
And I read this from Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan official website (In question & answer session) & New York Times:
MOFAP: General Jay Hood is not in Pakistan . The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is fully cognizant of the public sentiments and sensitivities regarding the reported transfer of General Hood to Islamabad . We hope to address this matter of public interest in the best possible manner.
NYT: The military has quietly canceled the assignment of General Hood.
But whatever it is, a report in Newsweek asserting that a military inquiry was expected to find that a Koran had been flushed down a toilet at the detention center and then the military inquiry concluded that a soldier had inadvertently (WTF?) splashed urine on a Koran, i will call it in bahasa 'KURANG AJAR & KURANG ASAM'. They still insult Islam and Quran!
