Racism? Again?

This guy named Surind, just bring in racism phenomenal again in this country with his article, entitled 'The Hajj: The Most Shameful Journey in History.' Read Here.

Maybe it's just some opinion from him that we should respect as a people who live in this multiracial country but for me I don't think Malaysia is ready for this kind of straight forward thing (Religious matter).

I don't know what to say. I have my own opinion. Yes, I'm mad at this guy. But I think all of you should read his article first and just drop your thought here. We'll discuss about it.

The Festival of Sacrifice In Islam

Taken from flickr

Eid Al Adha. This is the word. A religious festival celebrated by Muslims and Druze worldwide in commemoration of the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim AS to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God which follows the annual Islamic pilgrimage (Hajj).

This festival remind me about the sacrifice in our life. During the celebration of Eid Al Adha, Muslims commemorate and remember Ibrahim's trials, by themselves slaughtering an animal such as a sheep, camel, or goat. This action is very often misunderstood by those outside the faith.

Allah has given us power over animals and allowed us to eat meat, but only if we pronounce His name at the solemn act of taking life. Muslims slaughter animals in the same way throughout the year. By saying the name of Allah at the time of slaughter, we are reminded that life is sacred. The meat from the sacrifice of Eid al-Adha is mostly given away to others. One-third is eaten by immediate family and relatives, one-third is given away to friends, and one-third is donated to the poor.

The act symbolizes our willingness to give up things that are of benefit to us or close to our hearts, in order to follow Allah's commands. It also symbolizes our willingness to give up some of our own bounties, in order to strengthen ties of friendship and help those who are in need. We recognize that all blessings come from Allah, and we should open our hearts and share with others.

We pray to Allah SWT on this great day of Eid Al Adha to grant us with tawfeeq to follow in the path of Prophet Ibrahim AS and forgive all our past and future sins and hope that all our Haji's in Mekah in good Health and reached back home safely, also may Allah SWT protect all and every one should do all the IBADAH during the haj and every day prayers. Amin.

Happy Eid Al-Adha to all muslim friends out there! - From me, Skullsplitter / Eddy / Mohd Zuraidi Ahmad Daud

'Bila bumi bersuara, tunjukkan kuasa Dia Yang Esa, mengapa masih lalai dan leka?
Biarkan hati & minda terbuka, hanya jiwa yang merdeka dari kaca mata dusta,
Tapi iman jauh tertinggal dalam hidup yang nyata.' - skullsplitter

Dari isikata lagu ini, fikirlah secara terbuka.

'Barangkali di sana ada jawabnya
mengapa di tanahku terjadi bencana
Mungkin Tuhan mulai bosan melihat tingkah kita

Semoga Allah SWT mencucuri rahmat keatas roh mereka. Semoga Allah menunjukkan jalan yang benar buat kita yang tinggal. Syukur Alhamdulillah kita masih diberi peluang.

Fall for you!

'Jiwang' Mode. Haha. I love this song. It's remind me to her. Song with a good lyric and music. Even though it's just simple song from a college boy but I love this song!

Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade

The best thing about tonight's that we're not fighting
Could it be that we have been this way before?
I know you don't think that I am trying
I know you're wearing thin down to the core

But hold your breath
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind

Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find

This is not what I intended
I always swore to you I'd never fall apart
You always thought that I was stronger
I may have failed, but I have loved you from the start

Ohh, but hold your breath
Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind

Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
It's impossible

So breathe in so deep
Breathe me in, I'm yours to keep
And hold on to your words 'cause talk is cheap
And remember me tonight when you're asleep

Because tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind

Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find

Tonight will be the night
That I will fall for you over again
Don't make me change my mind

Or I won't live to see another day
I swear it's true
Because a girl like you is impossible to find
You're impossible to find

We call it 'Abang-abang'

Taken from flickr.com

Episode 1

The National Fatwa Council has banned females from dressing or behaving like men and engaging in lesbian sex, saying it was forbidden by the religion. Malaysia's main body of Islamic clerics has issued an edict banning tomboys in the Muslim-majority country, ruling that girls who act like boys violate the tenets of Islam, an official said Friday.

Episode 2

Harussani said an increasing number of Malaysian girls behave like tomboys, and that some of them engage in homosexuality. Homosexuality is not explicitly banned in Malaysia, but it is effectively illegal under a law that prohibits sex acts "against the order of nature." Harussani said the council's ruling was not legally binding because it has not been passed into law, but that tomboys should be banned because their actions are immoral.

"It doesn't matter if it's a law or not. When it's wrong, it's wrong. It is a sin," Harussani said. "Tomboy (behavior) is forbidden in Islam."

Episode 3

"It is unacceptable to see women who love the male lifestyle including dressing in the clothes men wear," The National Fatwa Council Chairman, Dr Abdul Shukor Husin was quoted as saying.

"(Masculine behaviour) becomes clearer when they start to have sex with someone of the same gender, that is woman and woman," he said.

.............................................................................

What do you think? Everyone knows that homosexuality it's Haram. But on the other side I'm thinking of what was in the mind of these girls. We don't know how they grew up to become like this. This could be due to sexual abuse at a young age or some other dark sides they grew up which made them like what they are today. Some may have parents, some may be living with relatives, some may be living at orphanage, we don't know their history. Do you think we just be so prejudices? That is what was on my left side of brain said.

On the other side.. I'm totally agree with what they said about 'Tomboyism is not human creation, its God creation'. But He give us brain and idea or plan, so, why don't we use it to think and learn what was wrong and what was right? Rite? Agree with me?

My suggestion is, Council can suggest a better idea to have a session with the tomboys itself. They can invites a few of them and try to help them and find the right way to vanish the behavior slowly. Maybe these girls need professional help and someone should help them get through this. It is not so easy as to put a stop. Just my 2cent's.

Introspeksi

'Apa dah jadi dengan saya ni?'

'Ini dugaan'

'Tapi kenapa saya?'

'Dia nak uji samada kau sayangkan dunia ini lebih dari Dia atau tidak'

'Oh.. Begitu. Jadi ini takdir untuk saya?'

'Takdir yang memerlukan doa dan zikir dari kamu pada Dia, untuk yang lebih baik'

'Erm.. InsyaAllah. Bagaimana dengan ikhtiar?'

'Berikhtiar pada landasanNya dan jgn terlalu intuitif'

'Oo. Terima kasih atas pandangan'

'Jangan lupa pada Dia'

'InsyaAllah'

Narrated Abu Huraira: "Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is, none of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father and his children."
