I just have a conversation with one of my friend regarding our entertainment industry. And one question still revolved in my head, is it true our artists has been isolated by our own entertainment industry?
Everyone said that our entertainment industry going down. It's because so many foreigners artist come and make a lot of money compare with local artists in our country. Is it true? It's because of the quality and popularity they had or our industry just not fair to the local artists?
I don't know, for me it's good to have competitor from other country in our entertainment industry, but I agree that we have to compete, but lets be real. If there were perfect copies of movies, album etc out there, people would surely spend their money for it. It's more about quality. It's so many difference we can see between product from other country and our local product. Our industry is in a bad place. Honestly, no more quality film, no more quality album, no more quality artists and why we have to put that blame to the foreigners artist?
I've read this quote from other blog and I love it.
“Give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he’ll eat forever.”
My opinion, learn from what they do. They learn how to fish, not just wait to have a fish.
What do you think?
